More books and a calendar, finally...

I just got an email from an SS reader asking about a couple of small special collection books I did. There aren't too many Stone Soup products, so when something comes out I try to remember to promote it.

One is a collection of Christmas cartoons titled "HO HO HO -- A Stone Soup Christmas", the other is Joan's pregnancy and midwife-assisted home delivery titled "There's No WE in Crowning!" They were published by Universal Press Syndicate and can be ordered at LULU.com.

In addition, there is finally a Stone Soup Calendar, published by Sellers. It's an 18-month calendar, a family planner, with a pocket for stuff like lunch tickets and very fun. My first!

Toonfest 2008

For anyone in the Midwest, the 10th Annual Walt Disney's Hometown Toonfest - 2008 is September 19 & 20, Marceline, MO. I'll be appearing with Dave Coverly (Speedbump), Greg Evans (Luann) and Michael Jantze (The Norm). We'll be in a parade on Main Street USA, do a couple of presentations (one for artistic school kids and one for the public), tour the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, and otherwise participate in what sounds like a very fun party.

New Stone Soup Book

It's August! This week Stone Soup features a series of cartoons that celebrate my favorite month. The 9 year old in me (aka Alix) can't believe that I don't have the whole month off to do nothing more than dangle my toes in some lovely lake. I don't, so I did the next best thing by letting my characters have all the fun.
