LA Times and Beyond

I woke up this Monday morning to discover that, after months of testing out four different strips, the LA Times has decided to add Stone Soup to their comics lineup. Color me hugely happy.

The Assistant Speaks...

Hello-

Here's an update from the person making all the magic happen behind the scenes! While Jan might do all the drawing and writing herself, by hand, I do the hard work: I scan the original artwork into the computer, clean it up and edit it. Often, I color the Sundays - that's my favorite thing to do! And occasionally I write some strips. I met Jan when I was 10 years old. I was doing a mentorship project for school and asked her to be my mentor. Originally, she turned me down, but I persisted and we've been working together ever since! I really enjoy my work. It's a lot of fun and my boss is great! Hopefully my next job will be this wonderful, but it would be really hard to top this one!
