Politics don't necessarily fit in Stone Soup, unless you consider the politics of everyday life. But somehow I think it's my, and everyone's, civic duty to make sure that people participate in one of the most important elections in many many years. The Sunday, Nov. 2; Monday, Nov. 3rd and Tuesday, Nov. 4, installments of Stone Soup have references to the election, not taking sides but focusing on discourse and participation. I had to do SOMETHING.

But right next to her, a little girl who already knows about "elbow elbow wrist wrist".
I loved this event and can't thank everyone involved enough. And thanks to Ann Telnaes, who appeared last year, for recommending the event to me. I'm a big fan of Ann's... check out her beautiful, intelligent cartoons at anntelnaes.com.
